WRAP Is a monthly networking night for filmmakers, actors, actress, comedians, writers or anyone who wants a good night out.
Our Next night is Sunday 28th of July and in terms of films and entertainment it is our biggest yet!

To Highlight a few; tickling your Ribs in the main room we have comedians
Glen Maney , Warren Peas, Collin & Rob + More !!

Filmwise we will be screening in the blue room from 8PM films by the following directors,
Esther May Campbell, Robert Maclean, Martin Friend, Fergus Anderson,
covering everything from Bollywood to skateboarding, to comedy to documentary + More!!!!

On top of this live music, DJ?s a licencsed bar till late and the opportunity to get those oh so important contacts WRAP is reinventing Sunday evenings.

I'd say anyone on this board who could possibly make the next date should go, show some support to your fellow filmmakers and bring at least one non-filmmaker friend along with you.

And seems that if you speak nicely to the organisers (Rob, Steve) you can turn up with a VHS tape in your hand and get it screened on the night ...

It seems that for some reason not many people here are that interested - some are even contemptuous - what's that all about??? It sounds good to me and about the only thing of interest on this site recently.

for me its the distance and cost of travel. Also Sunday night aint the best for me, but I intend to go along soon.

yeah, the next one's August 18th, and travel to London can be a pain in the a$$ sometimes, that's why I approach it as a social rather than a networking event, that way all you need to do is get p*ssed and talk gibberish and you won't be disappointed.

maybe if you lobby Rob enough he'll make it a travelling event ...
